Radt, Richard H, 93, passed away on March 23, 2026 with family by his side. He was born in Buffalo, NY to parents Henry and Alvina Radt. He was the youngest of seven siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Beulah; his two sons Curtis (Karen) of Midlothian, VA and Keith (Tracy) of Troutman, NC; three grandchildren Heather Bailey (Ryan), Candice Martinson (Dickie), and Laura Radt all of Richmond.; three great-grandchildren Miranda, Ashlyn, and Ryan Bailey, Jr.
He served in the US Army, was a machinist by trade, raced Midget race cars professionally, and his career included working in many different fields. He retired from GD USA in quality control.
His hobbies included bowling, golfing, and volunteering at Johnston Willis Hospital for 20 years and he was an avid reader.
The funeral will be on April 1, 2026 at 10:30am at Woody Funeral Home 1020 Huguenot Road Midlothian, VA 23113. Internment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens 12609 Patterson Avenue Richmond, VA 23238.
