Mr. Flatford was born February 16, 1947. No one who met Bob could forget his hard working attitude and his love for sports. Bob was the first of his family to graduate from college, Virginia Commonwealth University. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and Virginia Commonwealth University basketball fan. As he played for Virginia Commonwealth University baseball team and later the Baltimore Orioles farm system until he was drafted into the Vietnam war. He was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 15 at The Chapel, 3505 Old Hundred Road South, Midlothian VA 23112.
