He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Sally Hayes. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Warren; son, Brent Hayes; grandchildren, Austyn Hayes, Mallory Warren and Carter Warren; sister, Sue Millirons; ex-wife, Anne Crostic; and his beloved dog, Fred.
Ron was an avid woodworker, loved gardening, yardwork and traveling. He took a special interest in the royal family. He loved spending time with his friends and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
