She was preceded in death by her father, Sanford J. Peters. She is survived by her children, Fred Thomas Barber III (Angie) and Megan Gold (Brian); grandchildren, Freddy, Jackson, Elsa, Ruby, Lily and Wade; her mother, Nancy Peters; brothers, Tom Peters (Suzanne) and Michael Peters (Kathy); and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was a retired nurse with many accolades. She loved dogs, travel and the beach. Sandy had a beautiful life and always enjoyed helping others. She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30 from 1-2pm, followed by a memorial service at 2pm at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel.
