NUCKOLS, Thomas Waverly, 53, a native of Richmond, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 12, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis W. Nuckols. Survivors include his beloved wife, Pauline Nuckols; mother, Dorothy Nuckols; sisters, Pam Sinnott (Ray) of Midlothian and Pat Moore (Mike) of Suffolk; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and fond "Uncle Tom" to many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Thomas was a lifetime member of Stratford Hills United Methodist Church and a graduate of Randolph-Macon Academy. He was a longtime blood and platelet donor of the Virginia Blood Services, an organ and tissue donor, and a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was employed by Richmond Express. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond S.P.C.A.
