Tom had been very sick for a while and when Virginia could no longer be his primary caregiver, he was placed in a skilled nursing home. When Tom was finally brought home, he knew he was "home again" and passed away a few hours later. He was at peace.
Tom was the beloved husband of Virginia, he was a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather and friend to many. He was a hardworking, generous and spiritual man who did a lot of good for so many people. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Tom was a successful businessman of Tonda Enterprises (BG Products) for many years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:15 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian VA 23113. The family will receive family and friends an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
The family would like to thank Eva, Shamika and Lynn for their care and loving support of Tom during his illness.
