Wilkerson, Dr. Vivian Myrtle, 90, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord March 21, 2016. Vivian graduated from Highland Springs High School, earned her bachelor’s degree from Mary Washington College and received a doctorate degree in pediatrics from Medical College of Virginia. Wilkerson Pediatric Clinic at Fort Lee was named in her honor after her many years of service there. Vivian was an active member of Belmont United Methodist Church where she played piano, sang in the choir, and served on many committees. Vivian is survived by her sister, Anne Murray; nephews, James Murray; Charlie Murray, Jr. (Sandra); Stephen Murray (Peggi); and niece, Linda Murray. Additional survivors include Vivian’s special cousin, Terrie Swann, other cousins and members of the Nancy Anne Weinstein (deceased) family who loved her like family. Viewing and visitation will be at Woody Funeral Home-Huguenot Chapel, on Saturday, March 26, from 2 to 4 p.m., with a funeral service on Monday, March 28, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Belmont United Methodist Church.
