A passionate learner with a particular fondness for American history, Kevin's enthusiasm for knowledge was infectious. For the past 11 seasons, he shared the joy of Richmond Spiders basketball games with his mother and daughter, Lauren, creating cherished memories. Over almost two decades, he attended countless dance recitals, class field trips, and school concerts, wholeheartedly supporting both of his daughters, Lauren and Savannah. He would never say “no” to Savannah asking to do a puzzle or play a game. He was someone you could talk to about anything, for hours on end and someone you could always count on. When tragedy struck, Kevin was everyone's first call.
As a human encyclopedia, Kevin's intelligence was matched only by his humility, thoughtfulness, and selflessness. Whether offering advice, sharing life lessons, or simply extending a helping hand, he touched the lives of those around him in profound ways. He was a friend to everyone.
He is preceded by his father, Walter Clark, and niece, Jordan, who he has been reunited with.
He is survived by his loving mother, Edith; devoted sister and brother, Angie and Jeff; his two cherished daughters, Lauren and Savannah; and nephew Chad in addition to several cousins, aunt, uncles, and many other loved ones. Kevin's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, leaving behind a lifetime of warmth, wisdom, and love.
A memorial gathering will be held at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel on Sunday, January 7th, from 2 to 5 P.M.
