William Francis Auberger Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father, William F. Auberger.

Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanne; his daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Dodson, Janine (Chris) Armstrong; and his 5 beautiful grandchildren, Skylar and McKinley Dodson, Hayden, Emelyn and Connor Armstrong; his mother, Lorraine Auberger; brothers Ron (Nancy} Auberger, Dave (Linda} Auberger and sister, Sue White; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a graduate of Greece Athena High School in Rochester, NY and retired from E.I. Dupont, where he worked as a foreman for 27 years.

Bill loved sports, especially his NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills.

He will be missed by many! Bill had a way of making friends with just about everyone he met!

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Church of the Epiphany, 11000 Smoketree Drive, N. Chesterfield, VA 23236 at 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life is also being planned in Rochester, NY at a future date.

His family would like to thank the amazing doctors and nurses in the ICU, Palliative Care and Hospice Units at VCU Health, and the numerous doctors and nurses that treated him for many years at the St. Francis Cancer Center and UVA Medical Center.
