Wiltshire Cardwell Davis Jr.

Wiltshire Cardwell Davis Jr., 95, of Richmond, passed away quietly Monday, August 13, 2018. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran with 26 years of service. He served in the 101st Airborne Division in both World War II and Korea. Upon retirement from the Army, he worked at Fork Union Military Academy. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Vera Davis; and his brother, George Davis. He is survived by his children, Christine Temple (John), Andrew Davis (Allyson) of Richmond; four grandchildren, Kimrey Scanniello (Chris), Karri Broussard (Justin), William Davis (Brenna) and Laura Tizard (Michael); four great-grandchildren, Paul and Lisa Broussard and Kristen and John Scanniello; and sister, Ann Beckham. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 17, at the Virginia Veteran's Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, Va.
