Dorothy Ann Garcia

Dorothy Ann Garcia, 78 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away June 4, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born December 9, 1937 in Adams, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Walter Fredrick Kuhn and Margaretha Augusta (Hill) Kuhn. Dorothy was a sewing machine operator who made uniforms commercially. She loved sewing and often would make her granddaughters all outfits using the first one bought as her pattern. Dorothy loved spending time with her family especially her 7 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Christine Williams; 1 grandson; and 1 great-granddaughter. Survivors include 4 sons, Gary and his wife Ramona Garcia of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Jose Garcia of Riverside, California; Steven and his wife Kandy Garcia of Oklahoma City, OK; and Darren Garcia of Oklahoma City, OK; 7 granddaughters, Nicole Harjo; Ana Garcia; Amber Garcia; Janelle Garcia; Anissa Garcia; Anna Garcia; and Sarah Garcia; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Irene Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Paylor Family Funeral Care Chapel, 412 N. Air Depot Blvd., Midwest City, Oklahoma, 73110 with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
