Robert Price Brister went to be with his Lord on September 11, 2014. Bob was born July 3, 1938 in Butler, Oklahoma to Alvis and Flora Brister. Not only did he love to read, watch western movies, do crossword puzzles and go to the museums, but he also loved the company of family and friends. Bob is survived by his lovely wife Margaret Brister; his son Joseph Gregory Brister and his wife Emily D. Wicktor; daughters Sheryl Brister and Vicki Humbert and her husband Michael, along with his seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Alvis Brister and his sisters Mary Lou Puttcamp, Sandy Stewart, Geraldine Brister and Lavona Wilkinson. An informal gathering for Bob was held Sunday, September 14 at 2pm in Paylor Family Funeral Care’s Chapel.
