Alyssa Mary Gardner

Alyssa Mary Gardner passed away on January 1, 2022. She was born August 14, 1990 to Jack and Julie Gardner. She graduated from South Summit High in 2008. While in high school she was devoted to competing with the West High color guard group Urban Expressions all over the United States. She later went to SLCC for fashion and textiles. She became a superb seamstress who was able to help and guide anyone with their sewing. In 2014 she met Steven Clauson and they made a life together. She loved baking, horror movies, gardening, true crime documentaries, decorating for the holidays especially Halloween, her nieces Cerrah and Cerice and being amongst her dear family and friends. Her soul saw the world with reverence for both it’s beauty and pain. She was always trying to make it better.

She is survived by her parents Jack (Kay) Gardner, Julie Gardner, sister Candice (Kevin), brother Martin, nieces Cerrah and Cerice, her partner Steve Clauson and her best friend Dakota Spinazze as well as many other family and friends. We will have a memorial service at a later date.
