Arlene, a born again Christian, went to meet her savior, Jesus on August 19, 2024. She died from complications of a fall. She was born in Provo, Utah on October 9, 1942 to Arlos D. Anderson, and Dora Kathrine Lewis Anderson. She grew up in Provo, moved to Salt Lake when she married. Married William E. Wellington in 1959, had three children William E. III, Paul Arlos, and Angela, later divorced. Married her “Soul Mate” Robert (Gene) Coonradt, Sept. 6, 1984. He had two children, Troy Robert, and Laurel Gabrielle.
Arlene worked most of her adult life in various office positions. She retired from American Express in 1998. Later she worked part-time at Macy’s department store. She loved to read, write stories, crochet, dance and sing. She and Gene loved having barbeques and parties at their house with their families. Arlene enjoyed going fishing, hunting and traveling with her husband, and they loved going dancing, and entertaining seniors later in life. Arlene took a trip to New York as a chaperone with a group of high school students. She and Gene took several cruises, and trips to Hawaii and other places in the US. Their favorite trip was a ten-day tour of Israel, the land of our Savior, where they also renewed their wedding vows, near the site of the Cross. Wow!
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Gene, her sister Kaye Anderson Peterson, children, William E. Wellington, Paul A.
