Audrey Ann Gilzean, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and a true force for friendship, passed away on September 27, 2026. Born on August 8, 1939, to Arthur Russell and Doris Gertrude Hicklin, she was the youngest of eight children.
Audrey was a compassionate soul with a deep love for all animals, treating her pets as cherished members of her family. Her life was rooted in her faith, and she was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she found great joy in serving in the children’s Sunday school and with the Young Women’s groups. Above all, Audrey valued the bonds of friendship, touching the lives of everyone she met with her kindness and warmth.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Gilzean; her daughter, Julie Ann Dachtler; her son-in-law, Dach Dachtler; her former son-in-law and special friend, Joe Osio; her grandchildren, Debi Raskey, Shawn O'Donnell, Darren O'Donnell, Shani O'Donnell, Jarred Osio, and Wyatt Osio; as well as many beloved great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Linda Crouthamel and former husband, Yvon Hunckler.
