My parents and two sisters, Helen C. Nabuam and Rebecca C. Engles, preceded me in death as did my husband Harold G. (Hack) Miller (July 31, 1998), a grandson Brett Miller, and great-grandson Chase Daniel Elggren.
I graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. degree. I was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Pom Club, Spurs, and served on the Apportionment Board. While there I worked as a secretary at the U. of U. Bureau of Mines, enjoyed volunteering at the Symphony Guild, Theater Guild, and as a Pink Lady.
I was rescued from a fall on a ski slope at Alta on November 30, 1940 by Hack Miller and married him on September 11, 1941 in the Manti Temple. He was on a short leave from the US Army at the time.
I enjoyed my association with the GG Gourmet Group, the Darling Girls, and the Great Books Group. These women were such dear friends.
I served an L.D.S. mission in New York City at the Visitors Center with my husband where he served as the director.
We welcomed and loved four sons into our family. Michael C. Miller (Suzanne), Scott C. Miller (Karol Jean), Corey A. Miller (Nancy), and Clark C. Miller. We have 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. I loved them very much.
To relatives and friends I say a fond farewell.
