Betty Arlene Cook

October 21, 2010 ~ July 30, 1926

Betty Arlene Cook passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010. She was born on July 30, 1926 to John Melvin and Agnes Mitchell Vincent. Betty married Jack Wayne Cook in Salt Lake City, Utah and was later sealed in the LDS Temple.

Betty loved the outdoors and nature. She loved and cared deeply for her family and worked tirelessly to care for them. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Betty was also an active member of the LDS church where she served for many years.

Betty is survived by her children Cathy A. Patrick (Craig), Arlene Ward (Duane), John L. Cook (Leslie), and Scott D. Cook (Sherri); 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack W. Cook, and son-in-law Duane Ward.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel located at 3401 South Highland Drive. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to services.
