Beverly attended and graduated from West High School. She married Sharon G. Higgs, and after his death married William Phelps.
Being a wife, mother, and homemaker was her priority in life. She thrived in the kitchen, and was known for her delicious baking and cooking. She was the best mom to her four little boys, raising them in love and teaching them to become men of integrity. She passed that love and dedication through the generations to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly was the pillar of her family and was adored by them and by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
A dedicated and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Beverly served in many callings throughout her life, and held a deep love for the Savior. She will be missed terribly.
Beverly is survived by her children Steven (Nina) Higgs, Wayne (Debbie) Higgs, and Jedd Higgs; brother Jay Rice; and her many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sharon G. Higgs; husband William Phelps; son Scott (Paula) Higgs; siblings Janice, Robert, and David; and granddaughters Christine and Courtney Higgs.
A celebration of life will be held for Beverly on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah. Inurnment will follow at the same location.
