Brenden was born in Salt Lake City Utah September 6th, 2001. He attended Dilworth Elementary School in Salt Lake City, Utah and Kauri-Sue Hamilton School for disabled children in Riverton, Utah. Brenden was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Brenden had the most beautiful smile. When he laughed it made everyone’s heart around him fill with joy. He was the strongest little fighter his family has ever known. 20 years with him was not nearly enough but his memory will be treasured in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Brenden leaves behind his family and a legacy of love we will cherished until we are all together in the afterlife. Can you hear me now? This was one of the things that would make Brenden laugh and laugh. A lot of the smiles we have in pictures is because “He could hear us now”. Brenden loved stars on his ceiling and had his own galaxy right up above him. Brenden loved to hold hands; this was his comfort and many times this was his way to say hello to people. When Brenden gave you his heart is was one of the most precious gifts anyone could ever receive. He was so full of loved that him leaving us created a hole in our hearts that won’t be filled until we see him again.
Brenden loved music and his father sang to him since the day he was born till the day he passed. Brenden’s favorite music was the Wiggles, and anytime he was sick or feeling down, the Wiggles was the Band-Aid. Brenden’s whole world was his family, cartoons, and Disney. His favorite shows to watch were the Mickey Mouse Club House, and Jake the Neverland Pirates. He wanted them form the minute he woke up to the moment he went to sleep. Brenden was a handful when he was upset. He would try to knock you out but through it all, you couldn’t help but love him. His Dad and Mom would tell him every day that we love you, no matter what you do, we will always love you for the rest of your life and beyond.
On January 26, 2019, Brenden became an uncle and held this titled proudly. Holding his nephew, Revan, was on the high points of his life. Brenden loved teaching his nephew lessons from his life that would help on the road Revan is taking to adult hood.
Part of Brenden’s syndrome was self-harm, so from birth he was put on chew-toys. This enabled him to deal with his biting issues in a constructive way. The chew-toys relieved his anxiety as well as kept him from harming himself and others. Even though Brenden would lash out he was always concern for the person he hurt afterwards. There has never been a more sensitive, loving soul placed on this planet to learn the lessons heavenly Father wants us to learn before our time is over. Brenden loved his Mom above anybody else and he loved his Dad because his Dad knew most of the time what Brenden wanted to watch. Dad was Brenden’s remote control; he could use to find his shows.
