

Carol was born in Salt Lake City on July 9, 1950 to Virginia and J.W. Jakeman. She graduated from South High School in 1968. While in school she developed a love for the arts. She was an amazing painter, photographer and loved collecting art pieces throughout her whole life.
Carol was married to Bryan Kilcrease on July 14,1973. Carol will always be remembered as a hard working and successful business owner. She and Bryan owned several businesses together, as well as separately, working side by side most of their lives. She was passionate about owning a business and always went above and beyond.
Carol was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother. She loved the holidays and any reason to have a party. She was truly happy when she was feeding and entertaining a house full of family and friends. Carol’s laughter was infectious and one of the best things in the world was to make her laugh.
Carol is survived by her children Marlie (Nick) and Jon; her grandchildren Vincent, Memphis, Abigail, Grier, Declan and Caden; her brothers Shane and Bill; and her sister Karen. She is preceded in death by her husband Bryan; her parents Virginia and J.W.; and siblings Sharon, Lynn, Walt, Darrell and Bud.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be no services at this time. A Memorial Celebration will be held this summer, when conditions permit.
