

Cathy graduated from Skyline High School in 1972 in the top 5% of her 1000 student body class. She went to the University of Utah to graduate, Magna Cum Laude, in sociology in 1976. She continued an extra year to receive a teaching certificate.
Cathy worked at the Salt Lake County jail for 5 years. Then she moved to Adult Probation and Parole, where she worked as a pre sentence investigator, mainly, supervising mentally ill offenders. Cathy became the Supervisor of the treatment programs for the A.P. & P. She went on to the Utah State Board of Pardons as a hearing officer at the State Prison. She retired in 2020.
Cathy was blessed to be the mother of two sons, Justin Paul Crawford (Amber) and Christopher Lee Crawford (proceeded her in death 8-2-24). She leaves behind her darling grandsons, Leif Crawford and Chase Crawford.
Cathy’s interests were training and showing Belgian Tervuren dogs, reading, making beautiful jewelry, art, collectibles, JAZZ, and any local football team (go Utes) or any local player in the NFL.
A very important part of Cathy’s life was her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially loved working in primary, teaching children of our Heavenly Father.
Cathy also leaves behind her adoring sisters and brother: Linda Lee, Michael Faldmo and Janet Rupp. She made them promise to “let me go first”.
Cathy says ‘she’ll be waiting, but not too soon’.
