Christa Gudrun McCarron 92, passed away on March 17, 2017. Christa was born on January 28, 1925 in Zwickau, Germany to Paul Arthur and Gertrud Agnes Drechsler. She was married to Fritz Paul Wolf and later divorced. She immigrated to Salt Lake City in 1961 and later married Patrick Frank McCarron.
Christa enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She enjoyed singing and sang in the German Ward Choir for many years. She enjoyed going to the opera, reading and spending time with family.
Christa is preceded in death by her loving husband Patrick McCarron, daughter Angela Hill and Fritz Wolf.
Christa is survived by her children, Gabi Camp and Steve (Linda) Wolf, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Joseph Villa in her final year.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10:00AM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
