Christie Parker

Christie was born on January 3, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Robert Dean Braman and Colleen Christie Hilton Braman. She grew up with a deep love for family, faith, and the simple joys of life—values she carried with her throughout her years and generously shared with those around her.

Christie is survived by her four children: Christie D. (Marc) Lopez, Denice C. (Michael McClure) McNair, Danyll B. (Donald) Simpson, and Daniel Robert McNair. She also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Tyler Mae Simpson (Corey) Beadle, Jonathan Michael McClure, Robert Jacob Lopez, Samantha Melinda Lopez, and Abigail Tressa McClure; and two cherished great-grandchildren, Posey Eileen Simpson and Owen Darren Beadle. She is also survived by her sister, Yvonne B. (Roger) Kinnersley. Christie was preceded in death by her parents.

Her greatest joy and proudest achievement was her family, whom she loved with her whole heart. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Christie enjoyed gardening, cooking, and creating special memories through family gatherings and holiday celebrations. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she delighted in making it magical for those she loved.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Christie lived her faith through kindness, service, and love. Her warm laughter, generous spirit, and enthusiasm for life were infectious. She touched countless lives and leaves behind treasured memories that will continue to bring comfort and joy to all who knew her.

A viewing will be held on June 27, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at Wasatch Memorial Park and Mortuary 3401 Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT, followed by a graveside service and interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1342 E. 500 S., Salt Lake City, Utah.

Christie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. Her love lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to be a part of her life.
