

Christopher John Clark passed away peacefully in his home on October 7, 2013. He was born June 12, 1972 to Kathy and Richard Clark in Salt Lake City, Utah. Christopher graduated from Brighton High School and attended the University of Utah and was a graduate of George Washington University. He joined the National Guard in 2004 and served a tour in Iraq as a Medical Laboratory Specialist in 2005-2006, while attaining the rank or SPC, and was later employed at the Veterans Administration. For his service, Chris earned the Army Commendation medal, the Army Achievement Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He loved to golf and to spend time with his family, especially his daughter, Payton. He is survived by his daughters, Makenzie, 7, of Missouri, and Payton, 3, of Salt Lake. His mother, Kathy, father, Richard, his brothers, Nate (Amanda) and Peter (Katie), step-mother, Karren, grandmother, Phyllis, and all his cousins, aunts and uncles want Chris to know he was loved very much and will always be in our hearts.
Chris's love for his family, charisma, passion for gastronomy and quality arts and entertainment were apparent to everyone around him. Chris's enthusiasm and intelligence shone through in difficult times and made him a joy to be around. His family will remember Chris for his kind heart, helpful attitude and contemporary sense of style. He will be missed.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday October 12, 2013 At 1:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 South Highland Drive). Friends and family can leave online condolences at www.wasatchlawn.com
