If you are reading this, then Cindy is gone, dead, departed, motionless. She drifted off this mortal coil on September 27th, 2022. Her spirit was released from its worn-out body and is now exploring the Universe.
She was born on April 8th, 1953 to Elmer and Ethel Walton in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cindy is leaving behind a lot of stuff that her sons and daughter either do not want or will have no idea what to do with, so if you are interested, please wait the appropriate amount of time and contact them. Tomorrow should be fine.
She takes with her a lot of priceless memories. Here are a couple fun ones. For instance, the time Bryon and Holly were left with a babysitter (Norm) and decided to cut each other’s hair. Then they went out and cut the cat’s hair. Another is when Mike decided that the TV was his own coloring page. It’s really hard to get crayon off a TV screen by the way. Yes, these are just two of my many favorite memories.
Cindy married her hubby Norman in 1975, a year after they met at the drop zone. Their first kiss was in freefall at 7000 ft. They have enjoyed 17,520ish wonderful days together. Just when she thought she was too old to fall in love again, Cindy became a grandmother to Cody, Logan, and Taylor who stole her heart. Cindy is survived by her husband Norman Alfred Erikson, sister Vicki Syrett (Arthur), brother Lance Walton (Sue), son Michael Neil Erikson (Christal), son Bryon James Cody Erikson, daughter Holly Michelle Erikson Barker (Chad), and grandchildren Cody William Barker, Logan Chad Barker, and Taylor Annie Barker. She is proceeded in death by her parents Elmer and Ethel Walton, her brother Kent Walton, her tonsils in 1959, left mammary in 1996, gallbladder in 2005, a portion of her knee in 2012, and a couple of teeth here and there.
There will be no funeral. Just a visitation at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr, in Millcreek, Utah on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at 9:45 am. There will be a graveside service held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 5th South, in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 3rd, 2022 at 11:30 am. The family will be holding an Open House on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the LDS Church located at 2620 E. 8200 S. in South Weber, Utah. In lieu of flowers, take your loved ones out to dinner or do something fun.
Her achievements include; graduate East High School, worked in retail and finance, numerous volunteer activities and church callings. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting for various attractions to see and photograph for her scrapbooks.
Well, there you have it, she was born; blinked; and it was over. Please note her change of address to Mount Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake.
To the crooks reading this: We left an armed guard and four killer dogs at home.
