Claudia Hodges

Claudia Hodges died Saturday April 23 2016 at the young age of 63, due to complications of diabetes. She passed quietly and peacefully after a long hard battle. Claudia lived the last 16 years with her son Justin Hodges, daughter-in-law Lisa Thomas Hodges, and grand-daughters Louren and Jordyn Hodges.

Claudia was born April 27 1952 in Murray UT. To Gene T and Betty Slusher Bagley. Claudia was the third of 6 children. Four of whom survive her in death, Linda Bagley, Karen Swanger, Craig (and wife Terry) Bagley and Leslie (and husband Clifford) Hall.

She graduated Murray High School in 1970 and later in life attended the University of Utah. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. For many years she ran a successful business and was an advocate of women in business. She always tried to help those in need, encouraged the love of learning and acceptance of all God’s children. Claudia loved life and her family was everything to her. She was a positive role model to her nieces, nephews and all those she came in contact with. Holidays were always made exceptional because of her love of being together and decorating.

Claudia was preceded in death by her daddy Gene T. Bagley, brother Kevin Bagley, brother-in-law Richard Swanger, grandparents and other loving family members. Claudia loved her Father in Heaven and now awaits the day she will be reunited with the rest of her family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 27, 2016 starting at 10am at the Lone Peak Stake Center located at 11570 S. Wasatch Dr. in Sandy Utah. The funeral will follow at Noon.

All flowers should be sent to the Lone Peak Stake Center on Wednesday morning.
