Connie Ligeros

She is finally resting with her angels and in her true love's arms once again. She was born May 3, 1925 in Hiawatha, Utah to Panteli and Argyro Georgelas. She married Nick Ligeros August 31, 1941.

Together for 30 years they owned Nick's Greek Breakfast, located in The Medical Towers Building.

She was a lifelong member of The Greek Orthodox Church, Cretan Jr's, Daughters of Minos and Philoptochos.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Nick, 2 sons, (George & Willy) her parents and 9 brothers and sisters. She was the last one standing, her death is truly the end of an era.

She is survived by her loving children, MariAnn (Mike) Jessee, Arlene Pedersen and Pete Ligeros. Her grandchildren, Brittney, Brad, Nick, Rebecca, Justin, Jason, Jeff, Christina, Derick, Chris, Cody, Marilee, Katie, Jared, Claire, Cassie. Her Great grand children, Carter, Deegan, Lincoln, Trevor, Ashley, Owen, Emma, Isla, Cassidy and hundreds of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Her family was the Crown Jewel of her life.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 14, 11 am at Prophet Elias Greek Church, 5335 South Highland Drive, There will be a viewing on Wednesday May 13, 2015 from 6pm-8pm. With The Trisagion at 7:00pm, also at Phrophet Elias. Interment Mt Olivet Cemetery.
