David Child

David M. Child our loving husband, dad and grandpa passed away unexpectedly on Jan 3, 2014 at the age of 69. Dave was an accomplished athlete who enjoyed sports of all kinds whether playing, coaching or watching. Some of his favorite times were spent golfing with his children, grandchildren and friends. He met and married his sweetheart, Susan Evans, at Utah State University and they started their greatest accomplishment--their family. He loved nothing more than being called 'Grandpa' and was exceptionally proud of his grandchildren. Dave was loving and supportive and always put others first. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Su, and their children: Marc & Brenda Child, Tiffany & Ryan Foutz, Matt & Melissa Child; grandchildren: Braden, Paige, Mitchell, Austin, Penny, Skylee, Sami, Jake, Tayler, Brody and Beau; sister Marian Booth; his dog Buddy, and many friends. Preceded in death by parents, John & Viola Child; brother, Jack Child and beloved grandson, Luke. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, April 17, at Mt.
