

Diane Beckstrom Boyack “Gram” our beautiful mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, family leader and friends passed quietly at her daughter’s home January 30th, 2014 after a battle with leukemia. She will be sorely missed and has left a legacy of love, kindness, humor, and hard work. Diane retired after 35 years at Albertsons and raised three daughters on her own. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had such a great love for service and charity.In her battle with leukemia she found many new friends at LDS Hospital Bone Marrow Unit. She wanted to say thank you for all your loving care.Diane was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on September 13th, 1935 to Heber and Pearl Beckstrom. She lived her entire life in Salt Lake City and loved her neighbors and friends. Surviving Relatives, Children Deborah Schulze (Dave Schulze), Sharon Stewart, Dixie Philipoom (Spencer Philipoom) Siblings Karen Olson, Delos Beckstrom. Grandchildren 9 and Great Grandchildren 4. Thank you sweet mother for teaching us with such humbleness, gratitude, courage and dignity the meaning of enduring to the end. A celebration of mom’s life will be held Tuesday February 4th at the Little Cottonwood 14th ward. 1160 East Vine Street. 6:30-8:30 PM. Funeral Service February 5th at Little Cottonwood 14th ward. Viewing at 9:45-10:45 AM. Service at 11:00 AM.
