TRIMONT: Services for Don K. Franz, 67, of Trimont, Minnesota will be held Saturday March 5th, 2022 at 11 a.m. Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah
Don died on Wednesday afternoon at 3:02 p.m. MST, February 2, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato, Minnesota.
Don Karl Franz was born on August 27, 1954, to Walter and Gertrude (Jung) Franz in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his education in Salt Lake City, Utah. Don drove truck and later met Linda Jensen. They made their home in Salt Lake City, Utah until moving to Nebraska and then Minnesota. Don was employed as a truck driver and drove for various Trucking Companies along with his companion, Linda Jensen. They both drove truck together for Sather’s trucking in Round Lake, Minnesota and lived in Trimont, Minnesota. Linda passed away on August 27, 2014. Don drove for Martin Transport for many years until retiring recently. Don loved to be outside doing yard work, grilling, and sitting on his porch enjoying the day, and working on his home. He, also, enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid Minnesota Viking Fan.
Survivors include his daughter, CaLeanna Schaller; son, Donnie Carrell; granddaughter, Samanthya Storm Schwager, great grand-daughter, BraeLyne Schwager; and brothers and sisters, Richard Franz, Nancy Wilson, Steven Franz, JoAnn Turner, Michael Franz, Robert Franz, Judy Ure, Larry (Pepi) Franz, and Margie Brooks, as well as, other relatives and friends.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gertrude Franz; sister, Delores George; brothers, John and James Franz and other relatives.

Trimont, Services for Linda Kay Jensen, 54, of Trimont, Minnesota will be held Saturday March 5th, 2022 at 11 a.m. Wasatch Lawns 3401 S. Highland Dr. Millcreek, Utah
Linda passed away on Wednesday evening, August 27th, 2014 at her home in Trimont, Minnesota.
Linda Kay Jensen was born on August 5th, 1960 to Glen and Esther Marie (Boyd) Jensen in Austin, Texas. Linda received her education in various cities due to her father serving in the Military. She made her home in Utah, Nebraska, Tennessee, and the ending in Trimont, Minnesota.
Linda was employed as a truck driver and drove for Montana Brand, Dick Simon, May, and Sather’s trucking with her life companion Don K. Franz.
Linda was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She loved to work inside and outside of her home making everything new. She loved country music and love story movies.
Survivors include her husband Don K. Franz of Trimont, MN; Daughter - CaLeanna Schaller of Salt Lake City, UT; Son- Donnie Carrell of Trimont, MN; Grand-Daughter – Samanthya Schwager of Fairmont, MN; Brothers, Glen Jensen of Tooele, UT, Twins, Larry Jensen and Gary Jensen of Salt Lake City, UT; Sisters, Sharon Jensen of Ogden, UT; and Connie Haudek of Nebraska; nieces and nephews; her dog, Max and many other relatives and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Glen Jensen and other relatives.
