Born November 4, 1923 in Denver Colorado to Fredrick A. Knapp and Mary Ravoux.
Married Ralph G. Swenson on November 3, 1945 in Salt Lake City; Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Attended Barnes Business College and was an Office Supervisor at JC Penney for 23 years.
Preceded in death by Ralph G. Swenson (Husband), Lucille Belnap (Sister) and one great grandchild.
Dorothy is survived by Debra K. (Rick) Lyman, Robert Ralph Swenson (Irene), five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Salt Lake Big Cottonwood Stake Center at 1750 East Spring Lane on Friday December 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 South Highland Drive, and at the chapel on Friday from 10:00 – 10:45 am. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
