Edythe I Rathbun

Edythe Irene Rathbun passed away on May 25, 2013. She was born on January 4, 1920 to John and Lena (Muller) Krabel in Ayr, Nebraska. She graduated valedictorian of her class from Rosalind High School and attended Nebraska State University in Kearny Nebraska. She moved to California to support the war effort and married Claude Rathbun in 1944 where they lived for 15 years. They later moved to Utah in 1957 for work. She was employed in the Aerospace industry for 21 years. Edythe's interests included interior design, music and charity work for the Utah Assistance League and the Utah School for the Deaf.

Edythe is preceded in death by her husband Claude who passed away in 2002. She is survived by a son; Gregory (Rosa Maria) Rathbun of Murray, Utah, a daughter; Nancy Armanino (Steven) of Corona, California, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held Friday June 7, 2013 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 Highland Drive.
