Elaine R. Boyce

1923 ~ 2010

Loving Mother and eternal companion Elaine Robinson Boyce, passed away Feb. 26, 2010, after a long illness with her family by her side. She left her children a legacy of love and wonderful memories.

Born Sept. 19, 1923 in Farmington, UT to Franklin Q. and Vera McClellan Robinson. Graduated from South High School and LDS Business College. Married Robert Edward Boyce May 22, 1943. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Feb. 4, 1989. They were married for 69 years; before Robert was released from our earthly world by our Heavenly Father, on Feb. 11 2002.

Her family will feel her love in their hearts and around them but will miss the touch of her hands.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Robert E. Boyce and her son, Edward E. Boyce. Survivors include her brother, Richard (Lori) Robinson; SLC, UT, daughters, Dianne B. Yarter (Clynton); Orange, CA, Jeanenne B. Webb (Brent); SLC, UT and JoLyn Boyce (Daughter-in-Law); Sandy, UT.; four grandchildren, Kimberly Yarter and Steven, Mellissa, and Ashley Boyce; one great grandchild, Zackery Boyce; and many others she adopted along the way.

The family wishes to thank the nurses, aides and staff at the Silverado Senior Living and Silverado Hospice for their loving care and support. They are also grateful for the very special friends and neighbors who have been a part of their lives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Dr. Friends may call from 6-8p.m Wednesday at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, or from 12:45 to 1:45 prior to service on Thursday. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
