All her life she has sought to become one with the Savior, Jesus Christ. Her love for Him and for her family has been the motivating force in her life.
She lived in the suburbs of Vancouver, Washington, until she was 16, at which time her family moved to Wenatchee, Washington. There she graduated as co-valedictorian from Wenatchee High School. She attended one year at Wenatchee Valley College prior to marrying John Wayne Parry.
They lived in the greater Seattle area and raised five children, Roger Franklin, John Douglas, Scott Randolph, Kathryn Suzanne, and Dwight Ryan.
In 2007 she moved to Salt Lake City where she continued to serve in her church. She served a mission for the church from November 2007 to May 2009.
She is survived by her five children, eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
