Ella Deane Jorgensen Higham, born July 31, 1921 in Richfield, Utah to Perceival Esthmer Jorgensen and Rula Mary Olsen.
Ella Deane married Morgan G. Higham on March 31, 1945. They were sealed later in the Salt Lake Temple.
She passed away November 17, 2015 with family members at her bedside. She is survived by 3 daughters, Diane (Leon) Robertson, Karen (LaMar) Heinhold, Janet (Curt) Shelton, brother Clinton (Betty) Jorgensen, sister-in-law Alice Jorgensen, many nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, friend and “daughter” Sue Heinhold.
We especially want to thank caretakers at Chancellor Gardens and Symbii Hospice for making her last days as pleasant as possible.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Cottonwood 12th Ward, 1750 East Spring Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday night at the church and one hour prior to the service. For online condolences please visit www.wasatchlawn.com
