Ernie graduated University of Utah with a Traffic Technician degree and Brigham Young University with a Highway Engineering degree. He was of the Catholic faith.
Ernie was a good man who loved his children and grandchildren. He would help them in anyway he could if asked.
Ernie was into his cars and loved taking long drives. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping and his cat, Wizard. Ernie also was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.
Ernie is survived by his son, Darby (Chelene), daughter, Susan Blake, six grand children, nine great grand children and two great great grandchildren.
Ernie is preceded in death by Ellen Marie Limepeck, Ernest Sr., Celia Paiz, Andrew Jacob Preece (A.J.),
Joshua Robert Preece.
The family wishes to thank Kenzee, Jonathan and the whole staff at Valeo Home Health and Hospice for taking such great care of Ernie in his last days.
Services will be July 14, 2023 at 2 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. The family will receive friends on July 14, 2023 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM. Entombment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
