Merle was an accomplished artist, loving to create, and a champion tennis player. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions over her life. The early years of moving with Eugene “13 times in 13 years” made the next 60 + years in her beloved home on Millcreek Way all the sweeter and she never wanted to leave.
