Our loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Nana, and Grand-Nana passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born to Pearl and Earl (Fee) Golden on March 7, 1942, in National City, California.
She graduated from Granite High School in 1960, and graduated from Salt Lake Trade-Tech in Business Practices after.
She met her soul mate, Casey, at Granite High School. She just knew he would be her husband.
Casey and Goldie joined hands and hearts in marriage on April 10, 1964, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They have been together for 65 years and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a church librarian for many years.
Goldie's greatest joy and crowning achievement was the births of her children, Bart, Robin, and Roy. Her greatest passion in life was being a grandmother to her daughter's grandchildren. She loved to watch them, teach them, and spoil them at every opportunity as a grandparent should.
Goldie and Casey have a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. They loved to travel and did so quite often, embracing every opportunity to visit the Hawaiian Islands, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, Seattle etc. Her favorite place to visit was one with an ocean view. Goldie had a deep connection with the ocean and felt truly at peace and at home when standing on a warm, sandy beach. She collected seashells, sand dollars, or anything nautical in nature as time permitted.
She touched us all with her motherly love. We will truly miss her outspoken nature and wit.
Goldie is survived by her husband Casey, children Robin (Ron) Boswell, and Bart (Gabriela) Harris. Her grandchildren; Nikole, Krista, Kali, and Dane (Kelzy) Boswell, Amanda, Mitchell, and Mikell Harris, and Ashley, Zach, MacKayla, and Austin Harris, as well as great grandson Stark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pearl Fee, her brother Ken Fee, sister-in-law Arlene Fee, and her son Roy Harris.
Friends and family are invited to share their support and memories at the family viewing, which will be held June 5, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. located at Wasatch Memorial Park & Mortuary (801-466-8687) 3401 S. Highland Dr. Millcreek, Utah 84106. Graveside Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Food and Beverage gathering - to celebrate Goldie's life - will take place at approximately 11:30 A.M. at the same location.
