Helen Kay Schoenfeld, 78, passed away on January 15th in her home in Mesquite. She was predeceased by her son, Brad, and leaves behind her husband Richard and children Teresa, Roger, and Sharralynn; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Helen believed in soulmates and she spent the happiest years of her life with hers. After raising her children, she traveled the world with her husband, up until the year of her passing.
The most important thing to Helen was her family. She devoted her life to making her children and family happy. She was a loving, loyal, and sensitive wife. As a mother she was tender, nurturing, and protective. She was always able to look on the bright side of life and created a life of harmony. Her love was unconditional.
Everyone in Helen's life knew that they could turn to her for support, nurture, and a sympathetic ear. She had a bubbly and outgoing personality, but had a soft, sensitive side that made her able to connect with people from all walks of life on a deep level. She always brought out the best qualities in those around her.
Helen was the epitome of grace, strength and beauty and will be greatly missed, but she wanted nothing more but for her family to be happy.
Join us in celebrating Helen's life on Thursday, January 26 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary at 10 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
Helen's favorite flowers are daisies.
