Helen L Shorr

On this day heaven gained another Angel. Helen Shorr, 88, passed away December 26, 2020 in Bluffdale Utah. She was born September 12, 1932 in Payson, Utah to Albert Molton Francom and Della Pickering. She married Jerry J. Shorr December 20, 1968 in Salt Lake City. Helen has now joined the love of her life Jerry. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a hard-working woman who devoted 30 years to Varian. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and performed extensive family history work alongside Jerry for more than five years. She loved to camp, fish and boat with the family. She was a strong-willed woman who overcame many obstacles in her life. She was known for her sarcasm, sassy-cussing personality, and funny comments. She loved her family deeply and will be missed. Survived by her sons Rodney J Kendall (Colleen), Gary Kendall (Melissa) and daughter Dianne Hunsaker (Raymond); she had many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, daughter Valerie Baker, son Thomas Kendall, and grandson, Jason Kendall. Services will be Wednesday December 30 12:00 P.M., Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. where friends and family may call one hour prior to services.
