Our beloved mother passed away on October 7, 2023. Irma was born November 13, 1940 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Guillermo & Faustina Garcia. She lived in Texas, California and eventually found her permanent residence in Salt Lake CIty, Utah.
Irma was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Always supportive, encouraging, and not afraid to speak her mind. She was a great cook, loved doing crossword puzzles and sewing as well as attending yoga at the Senior Center. One of her favorite things to do was going out with family and friends. It goes without saying, that Irma was loved and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her 5 children Sandra (Marcelino) Jimenez, Richard (Vivian) Garcia, Juanita (David) Mount, Yolanda (Kenny) Jiron, & Juan Manuel (Margaret) Torres as well as 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place, and the family will have a private gathering at a later date.
She is resting now with our Heavenly Father. May she find peace, love and serenity.
