James Richard Patterson adored husband, devoted father, and Papa passed away
September 8, 2010 and took our hearts with him. There are no words that can describe a man like our Papa. A man that gave 110% to everyone and everything in his life.
Jim married Joy Smith Patterson on May 7, 1960, celebrating 50 wonderful years together. Jim worked for Western Food Services for 60 years. Eventually becoming owner of the company. Though he believed in hard work, family was always most important.
Jim is survived by his wife, his kids Todd (Jamie) Patterson, Traci (John) McCormick, and his grandchildren who were his EVERYTHING Taylor & Tanner Patterson, Lauren & Lexie McCormick. Also survived by3 sisters and 1 brother. Services will be Monday September 13, 2010 at 11:00am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 S. Highland dr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
Papa gave so much of his heart he had no more to give.
