Jane Ann Rada, 70, of Salt Lake City, UT passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 surrounded by her children and husband at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.
Jane was born June 17th, 1947 in Amsterdam, NY.
She was a retired Child Protective Services Case Worker in Montgomery County, NY. Jane was also a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held several callings, serving the church in many ways. She was a graduate of Amsterdam High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
Jane was preceded in death by her mother Beatrice Paro Beyer, Father, Ernest Beyer, both of the Town of Florida, NY, a sister, Jean Griffiths, of Hagaman, NY, a brother, Douglas Beyer, of the Town of Florida, NY.
Surviving, are her husband, Edgar Rada, of Salt Lake City, UT, whom she married on June 27th, 2009, four daughters, Michelle Cook, of Woodland Park, CO, Sarah (Brodie) Wilson, of Manila, UT, Melissa (William) Roe, of Hadley, NY, Mary Cook, of Woodland Park, CO, two step-daughters, Vanesa (Trevor) Young, of Provo, UT, Carla (Brady) Ellis, of Salt Lake City, UT, three sons, Jason Cook, of Amsterdam, NY, George (Amanda) Cook, of Elkland, PA, Jeff (Amy) Cook, of Cortez, CO, two sisters, Doreen (Glen) Marcucio, of Hagaman, NY, Diane (Carl) Berg, of the Town of Florida, NY, eighteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 on Saturday June 2nd from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with Bishop Doug Burgoyne, officiating. Interment in the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery in Salt Lake City, UT.
