Jared wasn’t just my neighbor, he was a genuine friend. We shared so many little moments, like having Striker over for playdates or me helping out by mowing his lawn when life got busy. He was the kind of neighbor everyone hopes for; kind, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. My family and I miss him deeply, and our street just doesn’t feel the same without him. May he rest in peace.

dear family of Jared. My name is Janie Ford and I worked with Jared when he was a dispatcher at Airmed and I also worked with himas a paramedic at AirMed and occasionally I would see him on scene flights as a sheriff. He was always extremely professional and tried his hardest to be successful 
his many endeavors.  He was very determined and very serious and very focused. I knew he had some struggles and internal conflicts and it broke my heart. His perfectionism greatly benefited his patients and his partners, but I imagine it made it difficult for Jared. Please know I have very fond memories of him. I am grateful he is out of pain and I know our loving heavenly father and our Savior are there to extend mercy, love and compassion I feel the kinship towards him. We share the same birthday although I am older and he also went to the same mission as my brother. Please know I will have you in my heart and in my thoughts and in my prayers during this very difficult time thank you for raising such a responsible son. I know he tried hard to live up to those values, and was conflicted when he felt he was falling short bless your hearts that you will have the ability to have an eternal perspective. Someday we will have a full understanding of this experiment down here called mortality sending love and prayers Janie Ford.

I just wanted to send my condolences to the Fawcett family. Jared was my companion in the MTC.  Jared was such a great companion! He was kind and so appreciative! I’ll always be thankful that I got to know him. I also shared an apartment about a year into our mission and he was always doing service for the other Elders living there.  He would do other Elders dirty dishes, clean up after them, and share his food when my companion decided he wanted to spend most of his monthly money on a new pair of Nikes! I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with him!

Jared, you were the best neighbor/friend. We lost count of how many times you helped us out. I’ve never met someone who is determined as you, someone who would literally give your shirt off your back. I’ve seen first hand how serious you took your job as a paramedic. You truly were the best. We’re going to miss you Jared. Fly high buddy, your memory will never be forgotten.

You were such a fun person, and I enjoyed working with you at AirMed, and seeing you here and there in Davis County.

I am so sorry to hear about Jared taking his leave. I have some great memories of him and Travis joining forces at my house. One deep snow winter found them shoving snow off my roof, which progressed to jumps and flips off the back second story roof into the deep snow. 
I decided to hire them to help demolish my basement ( perfect?). They proceeded to cliff hang off the ceiling tiles, while kicking in the walls. Demolition was eventually accomplished.
My favorite Jared story is still with my two girls to this day. One summer, they were selling cold cans of pop on 27th east. Jared stopped, bought a can and gave them. $10 tip! They were so excited. Today, after Hailey learning of Jared’s death, stopped at a lemonade stand, got a drink, and gave the kids a. $15 tip! Ripples on a lake. A good man.

Working with Jared was always so much fun. On this day we were all stuck at the hanger for bad weather. Me and Mar were the OB team on. Jared thought it would be fun to be our patient and practice delivering a baby on the stretcher. Training was important! Someone got a picture and I’m so glad they did.

Jared was fun to be around but had an energetic goofy side to him. He will be forever remembered and missed.

I remember this day vividly. He would make me laugh during downtime at the base while at AirMed.  This particular day it was a million degrees and he kept walking around singing “it’s getting hot in here”. We laughed for hours. Such a good human, I am truly saddened by his passing. Condolences to his family and to all who loved him.

Jared, my brother…. I’m so broken hearted. We had a lot of good times on  SWAT and in investigations. You were one of my favorite people at the SO. I wish I could have been there for you brother. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God be with you til we meet again…..

Jared was one of my favorite people to work with at AirMed. We had a game we played every shift in which he taught me the Drury roll, iykyk. 
Everyone could rely on Jared to not only be there to celebrate and enjoy fun times, but he was also an amazing medic who would care for the sickest on their darkest day. 
You will be missed my friend! You will forever be the ultimate winner of fart tennis!!
