Born on May 9, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Glenn and Gladys Allen, Jeannine graduated from Granite High School in 1948 and lived a happy and fulfilling life of 95 years. In 1948, she married Charles Husted, and together they had three children: Charles Husted, Jr. (deceased), David Husted, and Jennifer Husted Barber. As the family of a military pilot, they relocated to many states, landing in Ohio for a time before eventually returning to Salt Lake City in 1973. Jeannine enjoyed a satisfying career as an Executive Secretary for UNYSIS Corp.
Following the passing of Charles Sr. in 1985, Jeannine married Jerry L. Neese in 1988, welcoming his four adult children into her life: Carol Neese, David Neese, Jon Neese, and Jere Neese. Jeannine and Jerry cherished their time traveling to visit their children and grandchildren, and participating in many Road Scholar tours throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Jeannine is survived by her two living children, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her viewing and funeral services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 3401 S. Highland Dr., Murray, UT 84106. The schedule is as follows:
- Viewing: Tuesday, August 18th, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 19th, at 10:00 AM
As her children, we hope to see all those who knew and loved Jeannine at the services to celebrate her life.
