Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend peacefully returned home to her Father in Heaven Wed. December 28, 2011. Jeneal was born in SLC, Utah on October 16, 1933 to Ole and Arvilla Petersen. “One Enchanted Evening” Jeneal met her Eternal companion, Edmund C. Taylor. He proposed on their second date, and started 52 wonderful years of marriage on September 17, 1959 in the SLC temple. They served a mission in South Australia with unwavering commitment to the Lord. She was a loving mother to four daughters who adore her. She enjoyed many callings in the LDS church.
Jeneal had a kind, gentle, and loving touch. She had a way of spreading sunshine wherever she went. We’ll miss her sparkling blue eyes, and her spunky personality. All who knew her knew that she loved everyone and was described as the kindest sweetest lady they ever met. She had a way of making everyone feel like they had a best friend. She had a beautiful smile and laugh that made us all smile back. She was the perfect example of a Christ like person. She was a little piece of Heaven. She possessed a sweet and loving soul, whose kindness touched all whom she encountered. She taught by example, and had empathy for everyone. Her greatest passion was her family. She will always be in our hearts, and we were all blessed to know her. She was truly an angel on earth and now is one in Heaven.
She is survived by husband, Ed Taylor, 5 children; Barney Neel (Miki), Kari Romney (Steve), Tami Featherstone, Juli Eyring (David), Suzi Olsen (Stew), 15 grandchildren, as well as her sister Betty and brother Eyston. Preceded by Mom and Dad, brother Mac, grandson TJ, and great-granddaughter Ashton.
