Jennifer Jackson Creighton, 61, of Laughlin, Nevada, passed away on November 14, 2024, after a brave battle. She was surrounded by the love of her family as she peacefully left this world at 4:00 p.m. and entered into the arms of angels.
Jennifer was born on September 18, 1963, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Tamara (Bosch) Jackson and John Edward Jackson. She grew up in Salt Lake City and attended Libby Edward Elementary, Evergreen Junior High, and Olympus High School, where she made lasting friendships that would stay with her throughout her life.
In 2004, Jennifer married the love of her life, Kevin Creighton, in a beautiful ceremony at Liberty Park. Together, they built a life filled with love and mutual respect.
A devoted homemaker, Jennifer found joy in caring for her home and creating beauty around her. Her green thumb was legendary—her plants, both indoors and outdoors, were the envy of anyone who saw them. She loved zipping around in her little red sports car. Jennifer also had a passion for crafting and making homemade gifts for others. She was especially skilled in crocheting, often creating stunning pieces without the need for patterns. When she could no longer crochet due to health issues, she discovered a new hobby, "paint and pour," where her artistic talents continued to shine.
Jennifer’s love for others extended beyond her talents. She was a true friend, kind-hearted and compassionate, always ready with a listening ear or a warm hug. Though small in stature, her heart was immense, and her beauty radiated from within. Her legacy will live on through the love she gave and the beauty she created.
A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jennifer cherished her faith and looked forward to reuniting with her loved ones in heaven. She was especially excited about the opportunity to be a mother to many spirit children.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Creighton; her brother, Kendall Brown; and her sister, Stacey Brown Workman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, her first husband, Keith Folkersen, and a stillborn son.
Jennifer will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her light, love, and artistic spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
