

On February 19, 2015, Joseph Benjamin Peck lost a long and valiant battle with cancer. Displaying his characteristic strength, he refused to surrender, doing everything possible to be with his family until the end. He was a gifted visual artist and a connoisseur of all types of music. He had a talent for sports and excelled at nearly everything he tried, including martial arts, tennis, track and field, and soccer. He was an amazing skateboarder and snowboarder who pioneered skating style and culture. Joe was also super smart. He had a keen intelligence for all things and he embraced new technology. He was a genuinely kind and caring person and showed exceptional love for those lucky enough to know him. He was charismatic and a natural leader to everyone he knew. Joe was absolutely loyal and he especially valued his relationships with family and many close friends. He had a passion for life and never shied away from an opportunity to have fun. Joe married Erin Clark on August 7, 1999, and was a loving dedicated husband and a proud father of his three boys: Gabriel (11), Alphonse (7), and Ethan (7). We love you Joey! We will always miss you!
Joe is survived by his wife Erin; his children Gabriel, Ethan, and Alphonse; his parents George and Linda Peck; his sisters Sandy Peck and Natalie Peck Cronkhite Poulson (Jason); and his brother Alex Peck (Ashley). He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dana and Geri Peck, and Ralph “R K” Benjamin Keddington and Lilian Elg Keddington. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 28 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM, and funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
