Judy Francine Gertino

To know Judy was to know true kindness. Her life was defined by compassion, generosity, and unconditional love. She taught those around her the importance of kindness through both her words and her actions.

Judy's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her gentle heart, warm smile, and unwavering love made everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel special, and she undoubtedly left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She spent many years working for R.C. Willey, where her sweet spirit, genuine care for others, and infectious smile earned the trust and loyalty of countless customers, many of whom returned year after year.

Judy is survived by her children, Gina Gertino Anderson, JoLene (Mike) Gertino Lewis, and Jeff (Mary) Gertino; her beloved grandchildren, Talia Keys, Nick Anderson, Travis Anderson, Jaquelin Gertino-Raigne, Jordan Gertino, Aidan Lewis, Annicka Lewis, Sofia Gertino, and Jude Gertino; her two great-grandsons, Jupiter Raigne and Lumen Gertino; her former husband Jack Gertino; and her sister, Sharon Farnsworth. She is also survived by many neices, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jackie, her longtime companion Blair Malouf, and her son, John Gertino, whom she missed dearly. We find great comfort imagining their joyful reunion.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at The Ridge Cottonwood for the professional, compassionate, and loving care they provided throughout Judy's stay, and especially during her final days. We are also beyond grateful to Inspiration Hospice for their exceptional care and support. Judy adored her hospice nurses—Amber, Melissa, Jamie, and Ruth.

In honor of Judy, we ask that you perform a random act of kindness in her memory. We believe this would be the most fitting tribute to a woman who made the world a gentler, brighter place simply by being herself.
