KC Brock Van Leeuwen

1983-2013

K.C. Brock Van Leeuwen (K-Nizzle), age 30, passed away on October 14, 2013 at IMC in Murray, Utah. He was born April 12, 1983 at St. Marks Hospital to Craig and Melody Van Leeuwen. He attended and graduated from Skyline High School. K.C. was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The world has truly lost one of the most compassionate, loving, and genuine people it has ever known. K.C. left us on Monday after a life long battle with heart complications. His spirit and love for his family and friends was so strong that he needed two hearts. October 29th marks the ninth anniversary of his heart transplant. K.C. will forever remain in our hearts and all of the hearts that he touched throughout his years. We will miss you so much. You filled our life with so much joy. We know you are at peace now, free from all the pain. Thank you for being such an inspiration. We love you.

K.C. is survived by his parents, brothers Brandon and Devin, and sister Jessica, grandparents Joyce Walker and Claudia and Ken Van Leeuwen. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents and Grandfather Jack Walker.

Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Winder Stake Center, 1500 E 4366 S, SLC, UT. With visitation at 11:30. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday night at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr.
